wrong background that blends into the face, disturbances on the top and right

beutifull light

Pictures of homeless and decay are an easy succes as they trigger a simple negative emotion. I recently had a discussion with my teacher about the fact that so many B&W photographer seem to like negative subjects. Just for a try to go out and shoot optimistic pictures. You'll see it's ten times more difficult to get an appealing shot then.
Pictures like this can be found by the thousends, if not millions. Also the fact that the head is down, resuls in a dark gap with no contrast in it. Finaly the car onthe back is very disturbing. If this is really a picture you had to guts to stand in front of the man and take it, you could have waited until it is gone.

too bad the cable is there
-
the front part gets too dark imo
-
come back to this point when the sun is in a better possition
-
too bad of the foorprints
-
The hotizon is a litle to high in the picture IMO
-
too bad the footprints don't go to the tree, now it is clear somewone walked back to make the shot
-
could have done without the wheel in the right, otherwise nice
-
In the darkroom this picture could have been smoothend, now the bright centre and darker left corner gibe me some problems
-
The angle doesn't work out for me, the background is too distracting, and you could have removed the straw of gras in fromt of the stone
-
If you would have gone more to the right, the distracting outside would have been gone and a liitle more zoom with have increased detail in the figure, now it's a blur
-
a little light from below and less from the top would have recued this
-
another sunset, but this one is impressive
-
print this again and give the bottom part some extra light
-
the only minor is the circular object in the top left, 3 paces forward would have been better
-
great holliday shot
-
Did you line this out on the camera, or on your computer?
-
Only minus to this picture is the botom, a little higher angle would have improved asthetics
-
Why not tild the camera a bit, would have increased orginallity
-
nice shot! A little stronger zoom would have removed
the somewhat disturbing building in the front and
detail in the figure
-
If you would have layed down, you could have removed yourself from the picture. Then improve the lines during
print by tilting the enlarger head.

yet another holliday shot
