  1. I love the mood and message of this photo.

I am unsure about the slight motion blur of his head and shoulders. It isn't quite enough to indicate that he is swaying the way that you describe in the caption. Slower shutter might have been a little more communicative. Or maybe the understatement gives better emphasis. I guess I don't really know.

I definitely enjoy looking into this photograph. Excellent work.

  2. Would you prefer a point of view closer to the ground? I don't like the horizon at the center of the image but I don't want to crop and lose either the bush or the rock.

Also, I like the exposure but I'm afraid a print might lose the shadow details. Suggestions?

  3. Signs, pamphlets and shouting from demonstrators at the semi-annual General Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints spread their anti-mormon message, as Mormons left the conference on Sunday afternoon.

The mormons were instructed by their leaders to 'embrace diversity, and grab hold of tolerance.'

Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints spread their message through words

both spoken (very loudly) and written, as Mormons left the conference

    on Sunday afternoon.

and grab hold of tolerance.' What a great opportunity.

This is just a snapshot using on camera flash. How would you light a

face like this in your studio? What kind of angles, ratios and light

modifiers would you use? I think she has a lot of potential but my

creativity is limited and may not capture it. Thanks in advance for

    all constructive suggestions and criticism.

  5. I am disapointed with this photograph (miles of backpacking with 4x5

and this is all I got). I don't like the composition nor the

    exposure. I use the 2.3% spot meter on my Eos-1 (can't afford a 1-

degree for my seikonic, yet). Where should I place the various

tones? I think a graduated ND would help. How much EV range does

Velvia have (How many stops over/under 18% grey does it blow out/lose

    detail at ISO 40)?

Other than waking up the occupants of the tent and taking it down,

how would you change the composition?

This is my first attempt at Bridal portraiture. This was shot as the

sun was setting and reflecting off of a pond at the bottom of the

staircase. What are your thoughts on the lighting, composition,

exposure? More important--what are your suggestions for improvement?

Ficou boa. Gostei do ceu. Porem, poderia ser maior, ne? Acredito que os detalhes mostram que a foto e ainda mais bonita (tua cidade tambem).

    Gostei mesmo.

    Tchau
