Is there a published formula for an equivalent to Ilford's
Perceptol film developer.?
-
I shot it at EI 100 and used the Bergger recommended times of 6
minutes at 68 degrees F from their web site even though they
recommended an EI of 200. Negs are fine although I'm printing with a
cold light head. It you are using a condenser head you might want to
cut back on the development time a bit.

If you go to the Bergger web page at www.bergger.com, you will
find their recommendations.

I have developed the Bergger film in PMK, Rodinal 1:50, and
HC-110. My personal preference is the HC-110.

Ed,
Thanks for the great job you are doing. Keep doing what you are
doing. Civility and courtesy are always appreciated.

Does anyone have experience with Acros in PMK? If so, please
provide time/temp. I am using a Jobo CPP2.
Thanks.

Generally, if the negatives lack shadow detail, exposure is
inadequate. If they have shadow detail but lack contrast, development
is the problem.

John. Since rotary processing usually uses less developer than
inversion, when using Rodinal at 1:100, what volume did you
use per roll? I use a JOBO processor for my film. Thanks

The following is an email from Agfa regarding the availability of
APX25:

Dear James,

Thank you for your recent E-mail concerning Agfa film.

Agfapan APX 25 was a much admired part of Agfa's family of
professional quality black & white
films. However, sales volume in recent years has declined to the
point where it is no longer
possible to continue production.

We regret to inform you that we recently discontinued production of
APX 25 in all formats
135-36, 35mm x 17m and 120. Orders for existing stock will be taken
until supplies are
exhausted. No other black & white film products are affected.

This decision does not reflect any change in the dedication of Agfa
Consumer Imaging to
offering consumers a full line of film products. Agfa introduced
several new films at the
recent Photokina 2000 in Cologne, Germany and more are expected in
2001.

Agfa intends to continue the development of new film emulsions both in
black & white and color
that will keep Agfa Consumer Imaging among the leaders in film
technology.

Thank you for your interest in our products.

Sincerely,
John Auer

The Polaroid software allows a preview scan of the entire length of the negative
carrier, but the actual scan cannot exceed about 6x9 cm regardless of the software
because the step screw in the scanner that is used for the final scan is too short.
