    In fact I had a tripod with me that day (and I would have liked to take this picture in HDR rather than extended DR) - but the time you need to set it up is usually longer than the reaction time of the ubiquitous security guys. In Spain people are very restrictive about taking photos in building.

    Taken at ISO1600 with the D70s (raw). I experimented with D-lighting,

    layers, blurring etc until I finally arrived at this result, and it

    seems (to me at least) that the noise adds something special to the

    image, without the gain it would look more dull. What do you think?
