i'm a little late on this one and have no photos posted myself, but wihout applying any technical analysis, having no more than an amateur's eye, and ignoring the type of equipment used for the photo, the "dancing in the window" shot is stunning. whether it was luck or skill or, more likely, a combination of the two that produced such a perfect record of that memorable moment, i must congratulate you on your art. as photo.net continues to move, in my opinion, to a dichotomy of stunning nature photos and nude-for-shock-rather-than-beauty's-sake photos, it's nice to see that someone can still create an image that celebrates humanity.
thanks for that.
lenses fit for a king
in Leica and Rangefinders
Posted
in case you haven't seen it, here are the only two available 24
karat gold leica lenses. they're prototypes of the 125 such lenses
purchased by the sultan of brunei. the debate may continue as to
whether leica lenses are worth the money or are just status
symbols. it is clear, however, that 24kt leica lenses are meant
solely as tools. i understand the sultan uses the lenses on his
voigtlander.
