you use the right angle James but the wrong time of day , you also cut of canada place on the right....try again...I don`t want you to compare....nor duplicate anything but I find I learn a lot from other photographers....look up a couple of my shots, same angle on this site...

love this shot...clean lines...great composition and lighting...did you use black and white film and colour this image or was it orig. a colour image?

this is certainly a scene out of an everyday life...still highly sensual..but I also think there are many distractions here...making your eye wonder around, instead of viewing this sleeping beauty.

actually I like this much better...now what do you think if you would crop this image so the window is not in the centre....maybe crop a bit on the right side of the wall and bottom....am I crazy to think that?
  1. I think there is too much of a seperation in the picture. You have the foreground...so much to look at and then you have the City...also somewhat obstracted by the steel girders...the sky on the left side of the city is also dead space. If you would have changed your angle up higher and pointed the camera somewhat down ...gettin only the edges of the girder as a lead in...and concentrated on the city with the fog....what do you think...

this image expresses a really nice mood...very good exposure...delightful.....I have also looked at this folder and all your others ....you are a very good photographer and you put a lot of love into it....
  2. Homeless man...but what does your eye go to when you first look at the picture....is it the round white sign or the girl in the white top....if the homeless man is your key element in this picture, he should have also been the first thing you should notice. Maybe if he was lit by a headlight or streetlight and you would have captured that moment.....
