Gosh, that's lovely!

Wonderful shot and great story about the taking of it. So true to leave a perfect scene shot under pressure, then a check afterwards finds the ASA setting off by a stop or two. Good darkroom save resulting in a great image.

I prefer this crop over the other version in your portfolio. This file seems a little sharper than the other as well. Wonderful image. Thanks for sharing.

Love the interplay of textures

I'm going with it as one of the most striking images I've see here in a while. Good blend of PS layers. I like the cross fade of the nose and the eyebrows and even the edge of the face... and I love the expression!
Thanks for showing this one.

How cool is this! Great catch!
I would like to have seen the man either three quarters up or three quarters down in the frame instead of the dead center point-
AAAAchoo! Sorry, dust makes me sneeze.

I love it too~

The placement of the shooter beneath such a strong painting (that shouts of the power of womanhood) and with Annika so deeply engrossed in her work (concentrating on expressing her gifts & skill with her art) ties the two together so strongly that it leaves me with a sense of respect and awe. You may have only seen your wife taking a picture, but you communicated the power of a female artist lost in her work to me.
Deep insight and wonderful vision to this photo. Great catch. Good job!

Seven babies, and none of them crying? You deserve a bonus! Great looking kids. I love the tipsy one, number three from the left. That's how I feel sometimes myself. :-)
Love to see some slight detail in the black around their feet- to ground them in reality, instead of just floating in a black hole.
The originality rating is given for the title as well as for the shot. Good job!

I hope you did it with flash. Cuz if you used hot lights it'll be just another sunnyside up with a high iron content.

It does seem right to me. The visual communication is in the color. The broad clean expanse of green that balances the red of the ship is what makes the image work. The green frame adds to the image as well. Very creative. First class work!

Every once in a while a wedding shoot yields a really great image great beyond the couple being photographed. This is one. First class!

Striking image. Best in large view. Very impressive!

It has an almost old world painterly feeling. Very nice!

The way she is twisted, she must be a left tern.

Breathtaking!

I love the tones... the subtle changes of hue from one green tone to another.

Wow!
