Sunlight through a hole in the roof lit up this lower chamber of a
former Mughal administrative building built in early 1700s with red
sandstone, bricks, and red jhajjar stones. Please critique and/or
rate...thanks.

Good? Bad? Ugly? Suggestions? Please critique....thanks.

I wonder, don't these bozos have jobs and families to take care? Who funds them if they don't? And not one of them can prove that God exists but some of these retards are willing to kill and be killed in His name. So how different are they from those suicidal jihadis? Yet their kind are managing to scare teachers from teaching evolution in schools. And.......
I can go on; but the point I'm trying to make is that your picture gets folks thinking on those lines. To that extent, in the least, its' a very successful capture. Good one.

Is that defiance in those eyes? Well shot.

Lovely shot! But if you are looking to improve it, I'd suggest making the extreme right pillar parallel to the edge. Also, the glow over the bldgs seems to suddenly fade to darkness. Perhaps thats' the way it was.......just my 2 cents.

Hi Joe,
I like it! Though, I think the impact of this shot is only fully felt in the large version; and it looks great there.

Great idea.........but seems the focus is slightly off off the subject and at the water in front.

Its really nice, but I wish (1) it was perfectly symmetric as I think you wanted it; (2) the light at the top right was lit; (3) and the lights weren't reflected in the window. Theres' also some vertical edge curvature that I notice. But the blue of the windows nicely offsets the rest of the room.
-
Neat!

Quite catchy.......I wanted to rate it higher and would've if not for the distracting small blue spot in the lower left. A nice capture indeed.
-
The trees on the left, the tracks, and the train lead your eye into the picture nicely; but the trees on the right jar it back. Perhaps if you trimmed them out?
-
Nice subdued shot, but I wish the shadowy ledge above was parallel to the top edge of the shot.
-
Nicely exposed. If I could redo this, I'd address 1) the tree growing out of the head 2) the center Buddha and the pagoda (?) are not separated enough and 3) the structure on the right isn't parallel to the edge. Take care.

Too centered, but eye catching indeed,

Dwar palkin!! Nice.
-
Much much better than the earlier version! Nice indeed.

Hi Herbert, I notice I scored your shots the lowest. Didn't mean to.......but heres' why. Its a nice shot, actually. But the two boats lead my eye out of the picture than lead into it - it'd have been great if the two boats were further into the shot (to the center or right of center); or pointed right. And second, the bright sun is too bright and draws the eye to it.

Tranquil is the feeling that cropped up when I saw this image - the very essence of a monastery! The elements, composition, and lighting all combine to present just that feeling. Very well done!
Best,
