myself many times, I know the place well. And beyond doubt you managed to capture this scene in a spectacular way. I wonder how much more detail than on the above jpg-file one could see looking at the "original file" of yours ?
Many Greetings

.... to remove your "branding" with today's software tools. Sad, that people do it, but that's a fact.
I personally only upload rather small and low resolution versions which are quite strongly jpg compressed. Like this they are not useful for re-production or printing.
If you do not want to risk anybody stealing your work - you should not publish it on the web. Which would be a pity - as your portfolio is really GREAT !
Cheers

... I prefer "natural - one shot" images over composites. But here it's totally different: You had a vision of an images - a truly outstanding image - and you managed to construct it. I would love to get a bit more insight on how you assemble the single elements you took !? A clear 7/7 for me.

... how a photograph like this can be not at all appreciated by anybody here ? (Or at least everybody was too lazy writing something :-) ))
Somehow a sad atmosphere but still I have a feeling that this little fish feels comfortable in his little world.

I can only agree with Brad !!
I know the place VERY well (have been there many times) and have hundreds of shots in my archive. I love the place and I think Tomas original shot is very nicely portraying the beauty of this place.
Tomas: Don't listen to these "experts" .... I know that you know the artistic value of your work.
Best regards

... I love so much (and been there so often). And you captured it so well. The sharpness and clear reflection makes this one much above "average" ....

Dear Todd,
Thanks :-)) This old (construction 1907-1911) tunnel under the Elbe-river in hamburg is really fascinating. there are two tubes parallel and you access the entrance via huge lifts bringing you down or up.
I will upload a few more ...

Some say it's boring to look out of the same window every single day.Nothing changes ... Well, I don't agree. Nature is beautiyful everysingle day.
It was so hard to chose out of a huge amount of shots
Thanks for looking and all comments are welcome !

Castle ...
In the middle of nowhere on the Big Island Hawaii. Even with no nasty
dog nearby ... The place was not too inviting but even more attractive
due to the mysterious atmosphere.

.. :-) I know what you mean. This is one shot of a series I am preparing for an exhibition. The slide looks MUCH more alive than the reproduction here. But I think we should not forget "real photography" as you said ....

that nobody commented on this fantastic shot ? Very elegant and lovely tones. I would only crop a fraction of an inch in the bottom part or retouche the fingers.
