  1. I like your shot but I have 2 proposals: First, a (black) frame would fit and outstand the image well (- because of the white photo.net background) .

Second: The black rocks on the upper right are distrating the viewers attention. An elimination of the rocks would divert and recenter the attention to the snowtracks. I attached to the comment my "proposal". Otherwise a good image.Regards,

    Winter Landscape

It is very hard to place a comment on a "landscape" shot or to rate a photograph on originality when the subject is a tree (or a macro-flower-capture). I usually don't rate such shots at all.

Just because I think, that only the fact that such images don't appeal to me, doesn't mean that they are not great work.

Further more, I don't think a picture loses artistic value at all if it was "touched" or reprocessed in PS, as long as it is expressing further on the artists thoughts and ideas.

It is difficult for me to explain why this image has appealed to me in such an intensive way, but I'll give it a try.

I like the mood, the atmosphere that this picture implies. It's about loneliness and coldness but also about hope, resistance and power.

The colour scheme in sepia tone and the bluring background suits very well and serve perfectly the idea.

I like it very much.Keep up the good work.Regards,

  2. It looks strange because of the shooting angle and framing. The shadowed right corner gives me the impression that the entire building will fall back like a film-set panel.

I like it, because such things make a picture peculiar.IMO this is a good shot.Regards
