Hi Tom,

Good concept and vision; this image is very nicely seen the composition is great. Love the monochrome and sudtle differences of blue.

Two suggestions on a subject that is probably still around for another shoot:

i) Any way to get a sharper (ie, more in focus) part of the rim? Either the front or back edge would nicely offset the image, if possible.

ii) Maybe burn the top-right corner a bit and dodge the lower left - it would be consistent if the LL and UR were the darkest / lightest shades of blue in opposing corners.

This photograph makes me want to get out my macro and shoot around the house.
