MIchael, NIce shots! thanks for sharing.

The more I think about it, I think I'll saty with my M6's and just lenses like a 90 or the 75/2

Mark, Just be careful! Thats all. dont take the camera out of the bag if it's windy. and God forbid, DOnt drop it in the sand. :-0 Just thinking about it. Years ago i was in a workshop in the beaches of Cape May, New Jersey photographing migrating birds and i dropped my SLR. in the sand. Luckly i had can of one those air dusters with me and i was able to quickly get all the sand out of the camera and i never had a problem with it.

My point exactly, Francisco. I own 2 Fantastic M6's, I don't think i would sell one of them for an MP. Aside from the viewfinder modification,I just think the MP is just the same as an M6 unlees someone here thinks otherwise, and can tell us how much different it is. Now, I can see selling one of my M's for an M7 only for the AE feature.

Here is a question you folks might help enlighting me. Now, Is the MP
a much better camera than the M6? aside from the revised viewfinder in
which leica made some modifications with the contrast isuues, Isn't
the camera basicaly the same as an M6?
The M7 is a whole different issue with it's AE priority mode; so, my
question to you on the M7 is this.
Since using an M7, has it made you a quicker shooter than using the M6
or MP?
Thanks

Thank You folks, you have given me something to think about.
Abid, Thanks for your input on its use as a regular 90. I know it's compact, but besides it's compactness, i wanted to see how good it performed.

Thank You Guys! you all have been very helpful.

Anyone here shooting with a D-lux 2. Besides having an M6 I would like
to get a pocket size digital. I have seen the camera and it looks
quite sharp, but i want to know it's performance.
Thank You

Thank You Guys. I agree with you Raymond. I like that 12585 hood in leiu of the rectangular one.
-
just a few months ago, the lens hood for my 35/2 asph. had a small
mishap and broke the rectangular lens hood that came with the lens.
I've searched everywhere for the same hood to no success. But in my
search I've come across some other hood versions. mostly the vented
version. Will this hood work?
Thank You
