I'll give it a go. I was curious about mail delays and custom delays. I would think more scrutiny would be given to packages coming out of a war zone. Sending the family jewels to safety in America! By the way, I got a Cannon lens from Japan last week. Ordered at 1030pm our time in Virginia on Tuesday night. It arrived by 3pm Thursday. According to Fedex Tracking it was on their plante bound to Memphis within 9 hours of me buying it on Ebay. $29 shipping from Japan vs $19 for regular UPS from stuff I get from KEH in Atlanta. Of course I am sure the selling price of the lens included a cushion to cover any cost over the $29 they put on shipping. Lens was as described so I was very happy.

Ebay has quite a few Jupiter lens in Ukraine. Anyone ordered anything from there recently?

Never mind. Works now but certainly has a stronger than expected spring to push against. On top focus knob sucks.

Just got the camera in the mail today with the 100mm lens. The rangefinder focus knob won't move. Lens looks installed correctly. What's up with it?

I wonder how much cheaper mirrorless would be if a model without video was offered?

Thanks for the details on the screens. You told me more than I could find searching the web last week. I will be keeping an eye out for one.

I was thinking about a 220f because I hear it has a much brighter screen. My 65 year old eyes struggle at times to focus. I have all the various focusing hoods and a couple of different screens but still not any ideal. But I would miss the parallax indicator in the screen. Plus the prices are crazy these days for excellent rated f's.

After some searching I found a like new in the box model 3. I have been using a model 2 but it was jammed in close on my 3 way head and not as easy to use as I would have liked it to be. Just came yesterday and I shoot a roll through it taking closeups of trees in bloom. Works great and seems plenty steady and well made. I wonder why they are hard to find and I also see it was dropped in the promo literature that covered the C330S after being in the brochures for the 330 from 1976 to 1979. Anyone know of any issues with them long term?
