I really like this shot. Maybe a little less depth of field would give the foreground ?intercom? a little more punch. As it is, it gets a little lost in the background. In any case, it's a cool picture.

I would appreciate your ratings, and most of all your critiques.
Thanks, Malcolm

This is my first time shooting on Sensia film. I was very happy with
several of the shots on this roll. Please tell me what you think.
Thaks, Malcolm

I find my eye drawn to the building on the upper right. Perhaps you might want to see how it looks with that cropped out. I think it distracts from an otherwise very cool picture.

How did you time this so well with such a bright image? When I've caught lightning, it was looking at a dark sky, so I could leave the shutter open for a little while. The bright clouds mean you must have time it just right. Nice shot.

Thanks for your critiques.

Captured this one in a Wendy's parking lot after my friend threw a
french fry to the gulls. This is cropped from a larger image. The
original has several more birds, and more clutter in the background.
Is the cropping good/bad? -Thanks, Malcolm

I shot this in Boston this June. Probably contains a few obvious
attempts to make this shot look artsy... but since I don't really know
what I'm doing, comments would be much appreciated. - Thanks.
Conservatory Tree

I took this a couple years ago at Garfield Park Conservatory in
Chicago during a Chihuly glass exhibit. I would appreciate comments
on this photo. Particularly the framing and angle. The trunk of the
tree was at an angle, and I was looking up from beneath. Rotating
about 30 degrees to the left would align the picture with gravity, but
I think this angle worked well. Thanks for your comments.
