i was clipped into another rope.

is this anything?

i'm hanging on a rope fixed to the same route's anchors. the wall on the left enabled me to get out away from the crack. it was still pretty gymnastic. jam hand in crack, push with left foot, try and hold camera still, don't drop remaining coiled rope on Micah, etc...
thanks for the comments all!

when someone comments positively on one of my photos, i try to return the favor so i stopped in and this whole rodeo light folder just blew me away. it seems like you used the unsharp mask filter a little too much on a lot of these. some of these rodeo shots are of the best sports/action photos i've seen. i'll rate the whole folder when i have more time. great work, please keep it coming!

the "scratch" actually is a jet contrail. i should note that this is cropped and rotated from the original because the horizon wasn't...well, horizontal. i have the grid on in my viewfinder at all times now to avoid this problem. i wish the photo was sharper.
thanks a ton for the comments, folks

Any tips on shooting skiers/boarders greatly appreciated.

you might be able to remove the glare with photoshop some way, though i wouldn't be sure how to do it. i prefer less intimidating monkeys as subjects...

it would be nice if her head wasn't touching the left border. this shot was my favorite out of the folder. i agree in that these shots are always so hard to get, but when you do they're the best. nice work!

the grass in the foreground is a little distracting to me but others might like their effect. overall, i like this shot. black and white is a very appropriate medium for cows :)>

horizon's a little crooked. looks like that scene in "Coccoon" where the UFO is beaming up the boat of old people. would've been better in black and white but it's still a good shot.
