  1. Jim, I like it too. And, I am mort sure of the species either. Your crops works well, and you had good lighting. I am heading out to my bird blind later this morning. Cheers, bb
  2. Love this shot, Jim. Background is blurred, propeller speed is excellent, and a good sense of the the planes, speed. BTW, there is a good air show in Dallas this weekend (May 17-18) called Warbirds Over Addison. They even have a P-38 there this year. Alas, I won't be able to attend.

    Good shot, Ruud.
  5. Awesome. Good work of catching the complete wing-span and the bird's reflection.

    The College Student

Original, creative, amazing. A great shot that caught my eye as I was looking at PN. Bravo and congratulations.
  7. Yes, the wings are slightly cut off, but this is still a GREAT shot. It is well focused with pleasing b/g.

  9. Jim, your crop works and I think this is a better image than the original. Congratulations on where these guys hang out. I see them in Texas but so far have been unable to photograph them. Your shot is well focused and it shows well against that b/g. I definitely need a 400mm lens, but alas that won't be happening anytime soon. Well done on this one.

    F-4C Phantom II

Great shot. These planes were at MacDill AFB when I was stationed there many years ago, and I can tell you they are LOUD. This shot works well in b/w. I was at Cavanaugh in April this year and the light is usually very harsh when they are open. I like this shot.

    Walk, Talk and Sit....2

Good street scene of interesting people.  They all have their reasons for being at this location the same time as you, and their stories would be fascinating to hear. Best Regards, bb

    Serenity

This is beautiful work.  I love the reflection and this is what initially caught my eye.  But after further study I am very impressed with the lighting and colors.  Your title is also appropriate because this scene appears to be very serene.  Bravo!
