Your comments are much appreciated. In this shot, I decided not to
zoom in too close to the New York Post "War" headline so as to also
capture the National Enquirer and Star headlines.

I love the sky color, but IMHO the photo would be immensely improved if the water were made a bit lighter.

The networks have played videos of the planes hitting the towers hundreds of times a day. This, on the other hand, is a nostalgic and beautiful picture of the way things were. I have posted the picture else where, and people have thanked me for doing so.
I have also lost a friend who worked in the Windows of the World. Posting the picture seemed like a way of fighting back and restoring what has been lost forever.

Comments on this picture are much appreciated. I went for a more
natural look and did not overexpose to catch more of the building
lights. I can barely look at this view today given what has happened.
I was actually scheduled to take some tripod shots from this location
this week with my new Minolta Dimage7.

Nice color, sharp focus, and a simple but appealing composition.

While I realize you were going for the low-light effect, I would still have added some contrast and brightened the face as much as is tolerable.
There also appears to be an artifact to the left of the nose that should be removed.

Photographically speaking, I was drawn to the boys dark, penetrating
eyes. The red cape is part of a superman outfit. Your feedback on
composition is much appreciated.

Excellent B & W shot, and very erotic. Good work!

Excellent macro photography. I might have toyed with the contrast and color saturation a little to make the picture a little less flat looking, but I'm being picky. (Challenge: I understand that some dragonfly eyes are reflective. How about a shot with something interesting reflected in a dragonfly's eye?)

I really like this photo. The ratings received don't seem to do it justice. Perhaps it's because of bias against B & W? I did B & W for more than 20 years before going digital color two years ago.

Excellent photo, sharp focus, and beautiful color.

You can try for years and not get a shot like this one. Editing-wise, I would consider lightening the face and eyes a little bit to make them stand out more. But I'm nit-picking.

The color is very beautiful and rich. Time exposures are always tricky, but this one was right on the mark.

It's wonderful to see a beautiful picture properly exposed. The lighting and color is fabulous.
