Nice study... Fred Picker would be proud.

Great print quality. Is there a reason the bottom tip is cropped out? Otherwise the composition works well.

Juergen, all your work is exceptional. Wonderful use of eye, heart and talent. Congrats.

Has all the quality of a Steiglitz work. Simply a beautiful, touching photograph. Bravo.

Needs colors on the background and guitar. Complimentary colors would work best. Nice focus and composition though. Rock on.
-
Nice compostiton and color. Are you familiar with Eliot Porter's color work? It's similar.
-
Very artistic. I like the colors and textures. The blue car sets it off.

Nice one.

I don't really notice the infrared effect. And it appears a bit dark in areas. Wouldn't a straight unfiltered exposure have worked better? Nice subject though.

It makes a nice Ilfochrome (the red color). One of two prints is hanging in a diplomat's foyer in Bern, Switzerland. The other print is in my foyer. I like it too.

Nathan,
Thank you for the comment. I'm pretty sure the lenses I use are sharp and (at least most of the time) I get the subject focused, so those aren't a factor, but I have yet to get a scanned slide or print to match the clarity I get in the original. The slides I post here are from a Kodak CD and prints I scan on an Epson 636 flat bed at 300 dpi. I plan to get a film scanner soon, a Kodak 3600, which I hope will help.
Some of the photographers here have wonderfully clear screen images. I just haven't learned how to yet. Maybe they had drum scans done?

I won't nick-pick this one. It's just pretty.

Wow -- nice. The clouds and sky are beautiful here. The palm tree compositon works well also. I guess the filter gave it an infrared feeling? However it was made, well done.
-
Steve -- are you joking? Mapplethorpe was an artist. This guy is playing in photoshop. Sorry, but they are on opposite poles. I won't even rate this as a photograph. It isn't one.

I like this too. Nothing dull about it. Has beautiful color and texture.

I like this night shot. The wall really stands out, and cuts a nice angle into a very well composed scene. Well done Belinda.
-
A clever technique which yielded a very powerful image. I imagine this large -- 3 or 4 feet across. Something like Andy Warhol would do. Very nice.

This whole folder is good. You have a real talent for candid people shots. Don't stop.

I agree with Anders, this shows incredible skill as a photographer. Not only the print quality, but the clever use of an off camera flash and perfect use of depth of field. Well done.

Amsterdam is a great place. I got some good red color while I was there too. This really captures that world. Nicely done.

I returned to see this again. It is a great photo. Part of me wants to see some detail in the faces, but another part doesn't mind. The composition is perfect. It reminds me of the great works of early masters. Bravo.

She has good attitude. I miss some detail in the dark areas, but that may be the scan. I like it though.

Very pretty. Very nice colors and light. It sings.
