I like this; the way his hair has blown across, the red, the umbrella on a sunny day (why?) and something happening in the distance.

It is a little too contrasty for me, but I do like the overall feel to the picture, the mistiness and sense of peace. The grain contributes to this as does the classical composition.
-
I like the framing, the movement and the sense of depth from including some background.

Reminiscent of Bill Brandt's picture of Bacon. Striking picture.

A great sense of distance and space.
-
I like it too. You have done well to find a new view, and a different atmosphere, of a frequently photographed castle.
-
I like the wet and dry footprints, and how they show up in different ways in the sand, stone and wood. The top shadow gives a good enigmatic touch.
-
For me, the far end is a little washed out, especially through the archway, although the scene must have been high contrast and difficult to expose. The content and composition are vey good; I like the sense of there being a life lived just out of sight. Although the scene is empty it suggests busy people, too busy to spend time in the street.

I like this; a common sight but a sense of mystery.

I like the contrast and sense of mystery.

This is a very atmospheric shot. I like the colour cast, the smoke and the silky effect of the water. You might want to tweak the horizon slightly to the right, but a very beautiful photograph.
-
This would be a fascinating image, even if the cat hadn't been there. I like the hazy building in the background.
-
The shot is a little untidy, for example the box(?) on the balcony, but the overall image works well and gives an impression of a lived in space.
-
I don't like the horizon, not level. I do like the idea, the colour, the sense that this is just one frozen moment.

I like this; especially the repeated bicycles in the background, the low viewpoint with the shoes at the front and the expression.
-
In the thumbnail this looks slightly too far back, but seeing the full size image, especially larger, lifts this with the foreground detail. Very atmospheric.
-
This feels slightly balanced over to the left hand side, but overall a beautiful image.

Interesting symmetry. The composition feels a little hollow in the centre, maybe a figure would help, but then it would be a different picture. The high contrast lighting emphasises the strangeness and emptiness of the underground setting. An intriguing image.
