I knew that taxi was much too clean for NY. :)

When you are standing on the side of the road it seems that these trucks come by at 100 miles and hour. The blurred motion gives a great feeling of the speed. Nice job on a dull dreary day. I would usually have put my camera away by then.

Great shot, just wish it were bigger. The sky is very surreal.

This shot looks great on my screen. Different computers show brightnetss/contrast differently. Here is what I am getting: The mountains and land are almost completely black and all I show are the two tracks going into the distance. The bright firey sky above well to contrast the land. I checked the brightness with PS and like the original my monitor shows. Don't know if that is how you meant to view the shot, but it looks great without any detail of the town on the ground.

I agree this is a great shot. It really moooo-ved me. :)

Lots of cool things happening in this one. The repitition of the ligts is great. Also like the reflection off the wet pavement. Color saturation works well also. Great shot.

Thanks. After playing with the DSII for a while I am almost able to get the colors to match the slide. Still not quite on, but close. :}

Cool abstract shapes. Took a while to see the outline of the woman.

I like this shot. The red wall on the left adds a bit of flair to make it interesting. The light rings around the tube add a cool effect. The only correction I would make would be to push the green hue down and bring out the blues a little more.

This is one of my favorites in your portfolio.

I like the effect the filter had here. I think it works very well.

The perspective from the 24mm rocks. I had some shots from in NYC, but only had my 50mm with me. Very nice.

This shot is disturbing in more ways than one. Just encouraging a small child like this to drink beer is wrong. There are enough problems for him to face without alchohol.
-
This shot turned out great also. You have to get a better camera. These shots on the little disposable are nice, imagine what you could do with a better model. The silhouette works well here. You can try increasing the contrast just a little - it would help bring out the colors in the sky.

Very cool. I agree with above. There is something else in the corner blocking the veiw. Otherwise a very nice shot.

I like this shot very much. Great use of color and composition. A great sunset to remember for a long time.

I have very much enjoyed your photographs. This is one of my favorites. The mono-tone of the city works well because of the bright flash in the center. Very unique style. Great job.

Nice use of the fog in the air. Gives the shot a surreal - Gotham City feel.

A cruise ship is huge, yet is dwarfed by the magnificent clouds overhead. The streaks of sunlight really add a lot also. Very nice.
-
Very nice composition. There is so much going on in this shot, my eyes keep moving around. The repitition of the lights reflecting on the water work very well. Great shot!

Very nice relaxing shot. I am getting cold just looking at it. :)

I like the right side. It adds perspective.
