The white shirt is distracting. Maybe you can still crop it out? The childs eyes? Good photo ... but lacking emotion.

Phil - Very nice. It made me linger ... I especially like the cloud streak. it really adds to the image.
-
Gary - great shot. I agree that the image says we still stand tall. This image as well as all of yours in your WTC folder are great historical documentation .
All the best - Tom

I agree ... I can't get a feel for the girls personality. If you choose to put in your portfolio, make sure to get rid of the two whilte dots on the right of the image.
Good luck.

Excellent angle, excellent depth of field, excellent lighting, excellent job.

The sky looks good, but I think the right thing would have been using rule of thirds and placing the tree to the left or right. Nevertheless, it's a very nice picture.

Dave - This is my fav of your flower presentation. It's different, and the colors are wonderful. Your use of DF is right on the money. good luck with the arts show.

Great shot. You captured the personalities of the children beautifully.
Great job.

Very nice Dave. Very nice.

Jill - I know everyone has their own taste but I feel this image sticks out like a sore thumb from your other B/W's.
Your others scream creativity and this one screams snapshot.

I like how your drawn deeper into the image. Good job!

His eyes and hair both draw you into the image. I do think a "slight" use of rule of thirds would make for impact.
Good job, it's nice to see close up people shots on here.

Nicely done. I think you have just enough room to the left of her. I really like this photo. Your use of depth of field is excellent.

This would make a wonderful vertical.

Martin - This may be a personal preference, but do you think the composition would have worked better if the water on the bottom of the image was actually on the top? That way your eye would start at the bottom of the Kayak's and work up the photo. Of course you would need some water on the bottom.
The composition is good as is, but I think I would have liked it better with more water on top.
Take care,
Tom
