The faces are dark and hidden, BUT! i see (from left to right)a trombone(I hope I'm right on that), then an accordion, and then a guitar. then I look up and see large hats(sombreros??) in various orientations and go back left again to see a potbelly bursting through a belt and jacket. Man I can hear the music. Their faces may be dark, but you saved face with this image in my books Mike. Regards, BH.

love the dramatic clouds and the interesting building that balances them.

ooh! prickly. I don't even want to point a finger at this picture.

I like the shaft of light running from mid-right to bottom left. It leads the eye to want to follow the sun, visible through the tree branches at right as a bright spot(another nice aesthetic feature). Conpetent photographic rendering of a natural moment.

Just plain beautiful, tranquil and serene. Good marriage of land and water. Makes me want to be there now.

THIS IS OPEN TO AT LEAST TWO INTERPRETATIONS.
1.The stairs are the child's instrument of concealment or
2.They present a challenge to be overcome by climbing.
Either way, I like it. I do not find the child too small though, as heather stated. I find it serves to show the size challenge children face in relation to other objects and grownups.

Along with showing good composition I find that looking from fore- to background or vice versa about three stages of flight are experienced and they include full flight, rest and in-between.

Nice moody shot. With the boats all facing one general direction-along with the aparent horizontal lines of varying hues in the water- the feeling of calm and relaxation which I,m sure prevailed at Ponta de Pedras on that day is conveyed. The level horizon with the blue sky occupying the bulk of the picture space add to the feeling. Great job.
