Is there a simple way of repairing the unresponsive shutter?
-
i'm looking a reasonably priced camera it says it's working but no film has been run through costs £22 is it worth the risk? What can go wrong?
-
Thanks I tried contacting camera fair organisers but no luck

I actually had an item stolen. For reasons I won't go into I did not realise until just a few days ago. I was just curious about prices but the item was a 57mm f1.2 hexanon lens serial number 7509741. What's the best way of making people aware of this?
-
Just interested in the prices of konica manual hexanon lenses at the time of the late '70's to early '80's out of curiosity preferably in England though prices in the states would be interesting too

The first camera was an olympus OM-10 a very nice camera that you could grow into with the manual adapter

I thought minolta made the cameras up to the R7 or perhaps the M cameras?
-
Thanks that's very interesting. Actually I can recall someone who used a focomat enlarged saying the lens periodically filled up with muck and he had to send it off to Levitz for it to be cleaned strange
-
I am thinking of buying the above camera. I gave heard a great deal about the M lenses but less about the R series lenses. How good are they compared with other brands?
-
Yes i think it's a 2509 which tanks are best? I have quite a few which I assumed were best for 35mm at the time. Are they suitable for both?

Thanks for the ideas the reels are for sheet film does that a difference?
-
Just bought a couple of film reels from eBay. They are a little brown. Is there a way of cleaning them? They are jobo reels

The cover of my mju ii does not close easily. I have to touch the barrel of the lens to coax it back in. It is slightly loose. Is there a way of fixing it?

Batteries are LR44

Another firm similar to lee is hi-tech but really you use these firms if you have 24mm lenses or wider as they have special adapters so that there is no vignetting

Many thanks for that information

Thanks that's helpful I have left it in the shed and not looked at it for years. Just seen a video which from memory seems faster than my machine though I cannot be certain if it was not a CPA and not a CPA2 will go down in the morning
-
I have an old CPA2 processor a jobo which I bought cheaply from a dealer. The motor worked only very slowly so it was suggested it needed changing. Something else was suggested but that I forgot. Has anyone any ideas?

I left my minolta X-700 for a while and the battery leaked and the camera won't fire. What is the best way of cleaning it and can the camera be saved?
-
I did try using MS100/1000 but did not push it to 1000 only about 400 I think. As you say it was an excellent film
