The former "temporary" Path station was no great beauty, but looking
at the eyesore that's in the area now makes me a little wistful.

I like the muted colors and the texture of the surface, but the out of focus areas really bother me for some reason. Maybe just a little more DOF would make the difference.

Really like the post processing - I don't even know what other medium it reminds me of - a chalk drawing maybe? Can see it on a CD cover.

I hope to someday have a sports shot as a good as this
-
As some others have already mentioned, a magazine worthy shot
-
Great shot - love that it's a front view rather than a profile.

Now here's an image that brings back childhood memories

The moment captured is perfect

Just like Rakesh, I never thought such a creature existed on Earth. Now I'm going to have to google for more on it...

I can't imagine the patience required to get this shot - the whole hummingbird folder is great work.

An excellent technical accomplishment. As what some others have said - I've seen this before - but it's like chrome trim and art deco, no matter how many times you've seen it, if it's well done, it'll hold your eye.

In the Breckenridge village, it seemed like these kids were having
more fun jumping into the creek bed than on the ski slopes that their
parents probably paid good money to bring them to.

These little guys are surprisingly quick...

My attempt at basketball photography from the seats.

I see your point Levi - I guess this pic would work much better as a vertical, and by itself doesn't really do that good of a job in conveying the feeling of decay and gloom. Thanks for the comment and rating.

Tom's got a point - have you maybe considered leaving her in color, and everything else in B&W. Maybe with another pic, as her face seems to be slightly out of focus here - this pic perhaps:

Sean - I don't know if it's compression artifacts making it worse than it is in the original, but the edges along her arms and hands aren't clean - it kind of looks like she was cut and pasted into the picture. Also her face is a little soft - the color in her dress makes it that much more noticeable.
