  1. Thanks for the responses so far.

    I did take a look at both manuals. The D70 seems to verify that it's hooked to a PC and even looks for Nikon software which was my main concern and the reason I'm asking if any one has tried this.

    I know of the stand-alone image tanks, but it would be nice if this were an extra feature on the iRiver player.

    The X's Drive Pro looks like a great option. It seems strange that retailers in Europe would be the only ones selling it. However, it lacks the recording option that the iRiver has sold me on.

    Hopefully, I?ll get lucky and someone has attempted this.

    Thanks again,

    Justin

  2. <p>Has anyone used the <a

    href="http://www.iriveramerica.com/products/H140.aspx"

    target="_blank">iRiver

    H140 MP3 player </a>as a file dump from a Nikon D70? It's interface

    is suppose

    to be drag and drop like a hard drive. I was wondering if the D70

    can dump files

    directly to it. I know this is the mp3 player I want due to its

    ability to record

    and built in FM tuner. I don't have a D70 yet. I'm waiting to see

    if Nikon will

    annouce a replacement for the D100 in the next month or so. So I

    have no real way to test it myself. If the H140 can

    also be used as a file dump I'm really sold.</p>

    <p>Thanks in advance,</p>

  3. Take a look a www.udevelop.com. They send the negs to Photocraft which is one of the top two labs in town. The other being Wy'East Color. Photocraft through Udevelop charges $5.00/roll(B&W), $2.50(C-41), and $4.00(E-6) for processing and $5.00/contact sheet. If you go into Photocraft directly add a buck or two. I'm not sure what Wy'East charges. If you know your way around a darkroom you can rent one at Udevelop for $6.00/hr or $60/week. Their paper prices are decent and their staff is top notch. They can do custom prints for you if you want. Their custom prices are a little high for the area but their work is great. See their web site for prices. I haven't had them print anything at 20x30 but 11x14s have come back great.
  4. ezShop is awesome. The layout is great. I hope to see more reviews. I didn't see the Tokina brand under 35mm SLR though. I know they only make lenses but their high end is a good alternative to Sigma and generally half the price of Nikon and Canon. I'd like to see Tokina added to the list. Other then that it looks great. Thanks for adding this great section to an already awesome site.

    I agree that scanners and printers would make a good addition.
