Hello,
Light and sturdy; seems more sturdy in joins than my 055 (Bogen3021?), but more short. I use it with ArcaSwiss B1 and this combo a little top heavy.
One hic - it's equipped with a 1/4 stub for the head, and not 3/8
Probably it's too light for you combo (I use it with Elan7/rolleiflex) - you will need to attach a bag to the hook. So far I've not had any problems with it in the field.
I've bought this model for long trips : it was with me at 7 days hike this summer and I'm going to take it for 3 weeks trek in Nepal this fall.

About "pizza wheels"; in my case they've disappeared after about 50 prints on HP PPP matte paper

I have the ArcaSwiss (early model, have not had any lock-up); it's lighter than Kirk BH1 and the tension control is really wonderful. I really appreciate it especially with L-bracket. Even though ArcaTech is lighter than ArcaSwiss I'm not sure whether it has any tension control at all.

Hello,
Can I use the 120 film with 12/24 switch set to 24 instead of 12? I
want to do it because in my rollei it often slides down from "12"
to "24" position. it's not a big problem by itself, but it sets the
frame counter to zero, and after that I don't know exactly how many
frames left.
Any issues with frame spacing or something like that?
I have a rolleiflex 3,5F, model 4
Thanks !

I have this one and it's the lightes among 3021s if you throw away the central post and replace it with a little gadget which is normally connected at the bottom of it; about 2kg instead of 2kg3; it's only 500g more than the gitzo 1227 carbon.
At the beginning I found it a little bit short for me with the camera was flipped for verticlas (I'm 1m80 and I don't like to bend), so I've bought a L-bracket - now it's ideal;

I am planning to buy a tripod collar for my 70-200/f4 L. With my
BP300 battery pack on, will the collar fit? I mean will I be able to
mount it on the head? (I have Manfrotto 486RC2 head => Bogen code
3413QR) I am afraid the pack will block the ring when in horizontal
postion.
Thanks!

Hello,
Does the autofocus of EOS30 + 70-200F4 stil work with a polarizer
(about 2 stops) on the lens? Is this combo still OK for the manual
focusing or the viewfinder is too dark?
Thank you

"Why is it no use for picture taking? I thought it was just a strap to hold one's hand to the grip?"
==
May be it just me, but :
Vertically i use the release button of the bat. pack => no use;
Horizontally the tips of my fingers can't reach WELL release button either...
Voila; But anyway I've found it very useful to carry the camera around

I've found it really handy to carry my elan 7e+bp300 with E1 instead of a neckstraps; though for picture taking it's no use

Hello,
How should I change the developement time for new Kodak TMAX films
with ILFORD developers?
For example, for old TMAX 100 the dev. time was 7min 30sec with
Ilford LC29 and 9min with D-76; for new TMAX 100 with D-76 the time
is 7min 30sec; so I suppose that with ILFORD LC29 it should be about
7min .
Am I right?
Thank you

Today Canon France has officially confirmed it but they refused to reveal any details about new models; apparently there will be 2

After locking the AF with exposure lock button (*) I can lock the
exposure with shutter release button (with CF4 is set to 1). But the
exposure will be locked on which AF sensor? the central one? Does CF
8 and / or the metering mode set change something?
<br>
If i want to re-lock the exposure after half-pressing the sutter
release, how can i do it without waiting 6 sec?
<br>
Thank you

If you don't care about advanced flash capabilities (I don') EOS 5/A2/A2e is the best value probably (with the properly fixed command dial of course); by the way, i was imprssed with new EOS 300v (new Rebel) it has a really BRIGHT viewfinder, compare to EOS 300/REBEL 200 + it's very light, so if you want a light camera....

The price info was published in French magazine "Chasseur d'Images", rather reliable source of information (their site is bad, though)
<br>
http://www.photim.com/Arrive/Sommaire.asp, (naturally, it is in French)
<br>
Personally, i guess i will go for Benq ScanWit2740S(ex-Acer, Umax in UK); it's rather similiar to Dual II + SCSI + dust remouval(ICE)
<br>
Any opinions ?
Thanks

Hello,
<br>
I can't decide whether should i buy Minolta Scan Dual II (about 350$)
or the Minolta Scan Dual III which is going to replace it in november
(about 500$); Are the new features worth paying?
<br>
Thank you
