Hmm..maybe Volkswagen or Audi can use this in an ad campaign ;) I like the lighting and perspective.

Nice shot. I like the perspective of the sign with the bldg in the background. I always thought cul-de-sac was the French term for dead end, but I guess voie sans issue works as well.

This is a great shot. One thing which might make this better is if your daughter's face took up more space in the foreground. Otherwise, the color and expression really highlights a fun time relaxing in the water.

I think if you had taken a longer exposure and tried panning with the biker, it would have been more eye catching; it would imply more motion in the subject's actions. Also, something I've seen suggested is to leave space for the subject to "go"...in this case, that would mean have some empty space on the left side to imply that the biker is moving in that direction.

Please let me know what you think of the composition of this view of
the Taj Mahal. If you get a chance, take a gander at the rest of this
folder as well. Thanks!
Singapore Cemetary
in Uncategorized
Posted
This cemetary sits in the middle of a busy thoroughfare and I had
wondered about it every time I passed by on the bus. I finally took
the time to take a closer look near the end of my stay in Singapore.
The cemetary apparently has a caretaker, but as you can see, nothing
much is taken care of here. Two things struck me about the place: How
it sits right next everything that's so modern about Singapore and
how it was set aside and still considered holy ground.
So I've tried to capture the endless array of headstones in this
shot. What do you think of this composition?
Any ideas on how I could make it look more archaic and emphasize the
age? Thanks!
