I think if you had taken a longer exposure and tried panning with the biker, it would have been more eye catching; it would imply more motion in the subject's actions. Also, something I've seen suggested is to leave space for the subject to "go"...in this case, that would mean have some empty space on the left side to imply that the biker is moving in that direction.

I am currently waiting for some pics back from the CMRA event at Hallet Motor racing Circuit and I took a lot of pics of Adam Coco on his 600 Supersport. Hope they look as good as yours do.
