Wonderful DOF, interesting patterns. I like this one alot.

Isn't it such a wonderful coincidence that the clouds mirror the log? The clear blue sky and sparkling sea make such great photo buddies. Your shot is a winner with me! :)

This shot is way overexposed. Tune it a little with PS and I'm sure it'll turn out way better.

I'm sorry but I must be one of those oddballs who don't agree. I usually find POWs most intriguing and am always awestruck by them, especially Bill Hocker's work of the Opera Society. This is one great piece of work but as a POW, I think it's an overstatement.
I find the 'mystifying' glare very distracting. The background is too bare. Perhaps a globe or some common classroom objects will do the trick? The girl in the background also doesn't do any good for me.

Haha... He's a young Casanova, I must say. Hey John, I like your works alot, in particular this folder of People. Are they your wife and kids? You've captured some very wonderful and dear moments. I would like some shots of these nature in my room too! Thanx for the inspiration. :)

I've always been intrigued by mother and child(ren) shots, be he/she a toddler or an infant. The bond between mother and child is so strong that there's no real need for a deliberate pose. The chemistry's always there. This shot, IMO, probably won't be as strongly composed had it been shot in colour. I like the use of B+W here. You deserve two thumbs up. OK! Now I'm going to check out the rest of your stuff... :)

This is an absolutely wonderful play of light and shadow! Thank you for sharing. :)

Ahhh... What a nice crop! Makes me wonder what the boy is so intensely gazing at...

Haha... I thought it was pretty odd that the bench should be oriented this way too and after reading Vincent's reply, I drew a chuckle... :)
I like this shot but I think it'll be even better if there was a loner sitting on the bench. Why not, Vincent, you try posing the next time you go birdwatching?

It's just obese! :)
Other than the cast and the scan, I reckon you've captured just the right mood of a cat lazing, a fat one while you're at it... Looks to me like it jumped straight out of Wonderland!

Haha! What a cute shot! What happened to the right toe? Too much soccer? This is certainly a refreshing shot!

Hi!
This is one of the coolest shots I've seen on pets. Cats are curious when they're up and about. Always trying to figure out what's over the ledge, what's in the vase, what's behind the curtains... you get the idea...
This is my girlfriend's cat, Ginger. Most of the time we just call her Meow Meow. She's lovable most of the time except when she claws me. Damn. :)
