  1. The area collectively known as Cappadocia in Turkey has some amazing

rock formations due to the erosion that the elements has done. Have

I captured this balancing rock correctly, or should I have tried to

show more of the column that it is balancing on and its height off

the ground. Please rate and comment with what you think.

    Boats

For my two cents worth, I think that the boat in the water on the left hand side should be removed, and if you could have taken the photo without the other two boats to the right of the main one it would bring more focus to it. The background I am fine with.
  2. I would have loved to have been able to spend more time in this part

of Turkey waiting for the right light and finding the best shot, but

unfortionately we were on a tour which didn't give a lot leway for

exploring in your own time. However I think that this shot shows

nicely what mother nature has done to the volcanic landscape of the

area. Any thoughts, please comment and rate.

  3. We arrived here about 10 minutes before it was shutting so had to

sprint up the hill to this point. We had just enough time to look

inside and take a couple of photos before being asked to leave. Not

one to argue with armed guards I left, but it would have been nice to

stay a little longer to see how much more colour might have hit the

    mouseleum.

So........Tell me what you think, give me a rating and enjoy.

  4. It is just my opinion, but I think that you need to get the bottom of the flower more in focus and the background a little more blured, or take a closer photo of the flower looking down on it with the bottom of the flower going out of focus as it is.....then again it is just my opinion.

I like your previous photo more, seems a bit washed out in the sky to the left, also if it was taken standing more left and looking more right you might have gotten more detail in the rocks of the foreground.
  5. I spent the day playing around with this lens, trying to get used to

it before a trip to Turkey. I quite liked this photo as it came out

the way that I was hoping it would. Although it would have been nice

to get more blurring in the foreground and background. The apperture

was set at 2.8 which is the widest it could be set. Nice adevtising

    picture maybe......

Please let me know what you think

  6. Walking through this forest made me feel like I was back home in New

Zealand, it almost felt as if the rest of the world didn't exist. I

have always looked at other peoples pictures of forested areas and

thought how nice it would be to take something similar myself. Well,

hopefully with this picture I am starting to get there.

  7. This is probaly the best of the waterfall pictures that I have taken

so far, I liked it because you could hardly see any stream coming out

from where the waterfall hit the ground.

What do people think of this and if you are feeling really generous,

could you look at some of my other nature photos and give you opinions

    Thanks
