Just bought a new tripod so experimenting with long exposures. Guess I needed to be a bit higher up.
-
For me, the roses are too red / bright. Become slightly distracting. Might be better if you toned it down a bit. Just personal preference though.
-
Seems slightly blanched.
Maybe try a B&W filter ? (Re, orange or yellow)
-
This photo is currently as taken.
Would you suggest I change anything ?
I was thinking about maybe cropping a little blackness from the
bottom.
Taa.

I like it a lot. Especially the diagonal line.
I tend to consider photographs somewhat seperate to (drawn/painted) art. But this I would consider both and would be happy to hang it up at home. Well done.
-
I'm not the biggest fan of IR photos but I like this one because it looks very dramatic. I think including more sky would make it even more so - maybe.
-
Very nice & well timed. Well done.
Either my screen is a little off - or it's suffered a bit from jpeg compression (The orange shades on the far left seem a bit patchy).
-
Nice shot, had to be done in B&W.
I think it would have benefitted from having the camera a little lower and maybe closer to the wheel.
-
This was taken on my 1st night-shot outing.
Other than a higher elevation (so that the car light trails would
seperate out) any general urban-night hints ?
-
Again - trying out night time shots for the first time. Granted - not a V good shot but it was put on here in the hope of getting constructive suggestions.

Had just bought my 1st tripod and was experimenting with night time shots for the first time.

Nice. I like the colour shades - looks very 50's like.
Looks very much like the foto's by William Eggleston that are showing at the Hayward Gallery in London (up to 22/9/02)

Maybe crop a little blackness from the bottom ?
-
Agree with the above, although would of course leave a bit of a black border. Stunning picture either way though.
-
I think it would have been MUCH better without the bike!
Would be curious to know why you included it.
Maybe less cropping too, I don't tend to trim much myself so I'm not a big fan of it.
Also waiting for lower light might have made it more expresive / mysterious.
-
Someone really liked it (thanks) so I thought I'd submit it for
critique.
I normally go for bolder colours (especially when using Velvia) so
this makes a nice change.
-
Again - gorgeous colours.
Never taken any Provia - might do so now!
-
Gorgeous colours, maybe more sky + less foreground ?
-
I'm fairly pleased with this, but not sure about the brightness
around the Euromast itself. Can anybody suggest anything to improve
it? (Photographic or electronic).
Any comment gratefully received.
-
Nice idea, pitty you can't see more of the road to the left. Guess it depends on the ist though.
You should try saving your pictures at a higher resolution - the jpeg compression is a bit too evident.
-
Also have a portait version but I think this is better.
Any suggested improvements gratefully accepted.

Anything to change ?
That horizon line isn't really at a right angle to the side but I
think that was natural.
-
This is my 1st sunrise photo here. Any views ?
Note : Much better viewed large size - some strange jpeg problems when photo.net compresses it to Medium. -
All seem to have that Blade Runner, trying to piece things together from polaroids feel.
V nice effect on them all
Nicely done.

Do you think the gradual Mauve filter on the following variation is
better or worse ?
