Fire in the Sky

Hi again! This is the sunset that caused the "Pink Mt-Valin" photo

posted couple days ago. The strongest colors lasted only 3-4 minutes

then everything faded out. Sometimes it pays to look both

ways...first at the sunset then at the things being illuminated by it.

 

And of course, another case of "being at the right place at the right

time"...even though it was freezing cold out there.

 

Not too bad for a Pentax Spotmatic user...what do you think?

Wow...beautiful colours and saturation. The tree in the foreground on the left doesn't add anything, but rather blocks out the beautiful sky.

the clouds look a bit fuzzy to me; i'm of the school that generally likes *everything* in focus. do you have any more shots from that brief time which used f/22? :-)

Gorgeous colours, maybe more sky + less foreground ?

I think there is too much black foreground, you should have put more of this beautiful sky!
