Love it, but jumped up to the Leica to get an extra stop.

I just finished shooting B&W candids at a friend's wedding (not as

the official photographer). I shot TMZ at 3200 and Neopan at 1600

(very dark reception hall). I would appreciate recommendations for

processing labs that (a) can develop and scan onto a photo CD, (b)

are affordable and © use my choice of chemicals.

Any suggestions of chemistry to use to minimize grain with these

films? Thanks!

I enjoy using this camera, but find that at times I wish the filter

ring was always on my T3. Problem is, I use the case that came with

the camera, so I have to remove the ring everytime I stow it. Any

opinions on leaving the ring on the camera when putting it in the

case? (No filter or shade.) Am I leaving myself open to problems due

to pressure exterted by the leather case on the barrel of the lens?

The only reason this is an issue is that I find that I must attach the

filter adapter separately before screwing on a filter or the shade.

If the adapter is attached to a filter/shade, I cant get the adapter

to lock on the lens. I'm only interested in doing this for the sheer

convenience of it...if only the case wasn't quite so snug.

In case anyone hasn't heard: Contax will be having a national "Contax

Day" the weekend of Nov. 9th. For my own personal edification: is

the discount limited to 10%, or is a greater discount available

anywhere reputable? Thanks.

From what I understand, when using the SA-2 flash bracket and TLA200,

only the TLA200 fires. The bracket has contacts for the camera,

enabling TTL and shutting off the on-board flash. My only nit is

that the TLA200/SA-2 setup doesnt really move the flash off axis

enough--redeye is probably still going to be a big problem. Too

bad the TLA200 wasnt engineered to have bounce capability.

Off topic: Anyone have any idea when the black version is coming to

the US?

Has anyone used the flash bracket and additional flash with their T3?

Impressions? Are you solely limited to the TLA200 (which might be

more powerful, but does little to move the flash off the axis of the

lens to reduce redeye), or can you use one of the larger Contax

flashes which have bounce capability? Do you still get TTL with those

flashes or is the bracket connection solely for the TLA200?
