Decent snap, but no impact or creativity. Just a snap of a monument... but still a decent snap :-)
-
Good perspective. The highlights are a bit stong (digital camera?). Solid color.

Great light trails but the central tree detracts from the composition a little
-
A bit grainy, but great composition and subject

I like the tight crop and choice of B&W...I even think that your different choice of composition is kinds cool, but there are a few things that bug me about the shot.
1) The light source is way too strong and had washed out the top of the couch and the subjects blond (ie. "highly reflective" hair.
2)The problem in #1 also means you have lost tons of detail in her face. This could have been solved with fill-in flash, a reflector, or large white card.
3) When modifying the image digitally, you lost a lot of the grey tones (which may account for part of #2). Next time, scan as a color image and convert it to greyscale using the RGB channel panel in your editor, not the "Greyscale" filter. It also helps to save it as a 24bit image if you want better tonal quality.

Great perspective! Looks like a resteraunt up the street from my apartment in San Chung...where they put ketchup on noodles and pass it off as e-ta-li le-mian :-)

A little too soft for my tastes, but a great "stepladder" style and I love the fact that (at least it looks...) you shot with a diffused flash strait on the hotshoe strait down on the subject. Nothing fancy, but really effective. Good expression in the eyes.

Her expression is a little dull.

Is that a dropped baton on the right? Good action shot with loads of detail, Tom.
-
Good perspective.

Takes soooooo long to download...

Beautiful use of an ultra-wideangle lens. The color saturation is wonderful as well.
-
Good perspective. 24mm held vertical?

Belongs on a postcard :-)

Another great perspective, Luo Xian Sheng. Great detail as well...I can even read the sign.
-
The stones make for a great lead-out line. Wonderful perspective, Yu Song.
-
What a beautiful capture! Great job, Brian.

I really loke the slow shutter/short DOF keeping the waves from being sharp. Really unique.
-
Great perspective!

What is that hooked thing cutting her chin? Good eye contact.
-
I like the angle and the "stretched" look.

This is the second waterfall shot of yours that I've seen. What shutter speed did you use for them? It seems to be "inbetween", meaning not fast enough to freeze the water but not slow enough to fully give it a "silky" look.

Looks like the Metz I have, but I can;t quite make out the SLR...

I shot this at Chaing Kaishek Memorial Hall during Taiwan's (Republic
of China's) National Day this past 10/10.
