I just bought an Elmar 90/4 and I am happy with the performance but I

am a bit bothered because it doen't have click stop for apperture.

How do you get along with this inconvenience? What is your favorite f

stop for this lens? What is recommended for portrait? I usually shoot

400 color film and I don't use flash.

meter though I have a handheld meter ( too bulky to carry around all

time). I want to buy a low price metered prism such as kiev. What

model would you recommend?

Hi all,

I just a collapsible summicron with the front element coating

problem. Under magnifier, It has tiny hole distributed quite evently

over the surface like the surface of an orange (!). The coating look

intact. Is it possible that this front element get fungus then they

recoated it or is it just a bad recoating? Maybe factory defected? I

will run a roll film through it to see what happen. Maybe I get a

very soft lens for portrait? Anyway, I don't regret for buying it.

The lens look very beautiful and I wonder if it can be recoating?

Any advice is greatly appreciate.

I just bought a rolleiflex MX. It has a Opton tessa lense. Can anyone

tell me if I can use this for color film or slide?

I had used a rolleiflex before but the result was not very good

(yellow cast) but that camera was an older one with no sync flash and

no lense coating.

What rollei filter can I use to get better contrast on B&W portrait?

My subjects are mostly asian people.
