  1. I don't see a need to go digital. (Not to mention slow AF speed.)

     

    Grab some NPZ and try them. Great stuff. EASILY blow up to 8x12 with exceptional clarity when printed by Frontier. (I've tried other labs, but those are not as sharp as the Frontier's.)

     

    Of course, you need the right equipment. If you are willing to spend(which you probably are), get a EOS 3, 200/1.8L(1.8!) or 300/2.8L IS.

  2. I just bought a brand new Hoya Super-coated slim circ pol yesterday at B&H for my 20/2.8. Today when I was trying to attach it to my lens, I left a *tiny* scratch(about 1.5mm) on the edge of the glass with my finger! ouch! I don't think it will affect the image but still it's a new filter! Multi-coated and Super-coated filters require extra care, and it's hard to clean them(if you know how to clean them properly).
