Download & run Xnview and under Edit/Properties look into the EXIF tab.
There are other dedicated EXIF viewer/editor which will allow you to do the same. Look into the archives of this forum or do a google.

That is a good piece of glass you are having.
It employs Nikon's CRC which is not available in the AF versions.
I was unable to find one the last time I tried.
-
It is in the EXIF data on Xnview, a freeware image browser.
If it is due to factory calibration tests, it sure is a very rigorous test routine.
Thanks.

Can anybody explain why the shuuter count on a new D70s reads about
150 ? Could it be an indication of a demo unit.
Thanks all.

I am planning to purchase the above flash. The Metz website says
that the version 3 is required for full compatibility. How do I
determine that a particular unit is actually Version 3 ? Is it
indicated anywhere in the flash unit or pagkaging?
Thanks.

How can a camera like the S3 not be good ?

If budget is tight, the 6-ink EPSON R310.
Of course it is dye-based, not the chrome ink.

PS Elements 3.0 is also a hog compared to PSE 2.0 which ran swiftly on my P4 2.0 with 384MB RAM.

My daughter's $99 'no brand' focus-free digicam uses a CMOS; so is the one on my Nokia 7610.

Got my E300 recently and paid $320 extra over kit price to exchange the kit lens with the 14-54. I reckon the extra is justified for a faster lens which gives brighter viewing and aids AF. Nothing to do with optical quality or extra tele mm.
Asthetics, the lens seem out of proportion to the size of E300. The kit lens is a better match. It makes the oufit kind of front heavy.
Another thing to be aware is the lens partially blocks flash coverage when used at the wide and near wide setting resulting in shadows a the bottom of the image.
Honestly, I am hoping to be able to afford the E-1 and if that comes true I would already have a lens to match. Hoping !

Get ready for a big surprise; there is no war in Sudan.
Khartoum is much safer than most big cities.

Serious landscape work, with or without a DSLR, will require serious photoshop work.
I don't reckon the latter is possible without a PC.
But then again, go on and buy the D70 and have fun.

Welcome to Kuala Lumpur. Expect frequent downpours during the period.

Most 3.0 MP camera have 1/2.7 sensor. It is quite hard to see any visual difference had a 1/1.8 been used. Still, I suggest the A80 as it is a 4MP which gives more margin for cropping. The swivel LCD is a bonus and you will manage with 38mm at the wide end somehow.

No, it is not. Only CF and SM.

It is indeed a surprise to know that the program creates a duplicate image somehere, no idea of why would this be necessary.
I will upgrade to 6.03 once my ADSL is working, which is currently down due to a faulty network card, so now back to dial-up.
Dan O., while it is definitely a good idea to separate data on a different disk, why would it be necessary to split OS and programs. AFAIK, if your Windows is screwed and needs to be reinstalled, the existing programs will not work with the fresh Windows. You will still need to install all the programs again. Pardon me if I'm wrong.

Is it true that ACDSee 6 will cause a heavily fragmented drive. I
somewhat tend to believe as I noticed a my C drive is such after
installing the program. Anybody has similar experience ?

Kind of, actually a lot. Especially after letting go my mint F90X for a almost a token sum when led to believe that it will be worthless very soon. Purchased the so called excellent S45 which is used mostly by my teenage daughter. I don't have a real camera now. Period.

Whilst the Mac is a very respectable platform, find it a bit of a stretch to say it is the best for digital video editing. FCP again in its 4th version is formidable.
-
It does if done in XP Viewer; I've noticed a slight reduction in file size. Not sure about if done in camera.

Does the new Canon lines A70/A80/s400 offers the feature? [unable to determine from on-line reviews]. The registered electronic and PC dealer for the company I work seems to be promoting Canon products at every opportunity to the bosses in charge.

Need help in which consumer digicam which allows image rotation
in camera. The reason is I need immediate preview on tv sets for my
board members to see before I have the chance to run images on the
XP software.
Thanks.

Prices of used Hassies are quite tempting now, probably due to the digital onslaught; however those Zeisses are still going at a premium.
