  1. Kodak is suggesting different timing of for processing T Max 100 in

    D76 spec and spec for T Max film.TMax Film says 8 1/2 mins and D 76

spec sheet says 12 Mins 1:1 solution.

I decideded to go ahead with D 76 (12 min) and got too much of

contrast. Ok now I know I have to develop it at 9 1/2. But I am not

sure why this difference in data sheet from same company. Is there

    something I am missing ?

Here are the links I am refering to

    D76

  2. I got a film STERLING rated ASA 125/22C It comes with no information

about processing direction. As the only importer of Ilford in India

has stopped importing it I was trying to check if this will be good

    alternate.

What I plan to do is to cut the exposed film in tree part and develop

if for 6 9 and 12 mins and see the result.

Can some one suggest some alternate/better way of doing it ?

I am very new to film processing so I will appreciate suggestions

about type of subjects I should shoot for this experiment and some way

of judging these negatives before I print it.
