    Looks even better here than it did on PR John. Great timing and the exposure and focus are dead on. You should think about doing this for a living.

    Thanks for the kind words. I was shooting in single shot mode using strobes mounted on the catwalks above. The camera settings were 1/250 at f5.6.

    Thanks to all who have commented on this photograph. This was one of those images that kind of jumped out at me. I saw it in B&W from the moment I released the shutter. Glad that so many have enjoyed it as much as I have.
  1. This is an available light handheld still life. My wife had just

    returned from her garden with this basket of tomatoes and sugested I

    take a picture. Nikon D70 with 105mm f2.8

    This image was taken at high noon on a cool spring day. both bloom

    and fly were taking advantage of the noon sun. Taken in macro mode

    with a Fuji Finepix S602Z 1/400 at f5 ISO 200

    I seem to have gottetn a variety of opinons on this photo I'm

    interested in how the critques of photo net view this image. Done

    with available light at a family reunion on a fujifilm S602 at 1/150

    at f3.1 ISO 200. soem like the uncliped strings other find them

    distraction. I like them and think they give the photo an

    interesting look.
