An early Ocotber snowfall in NH's White Mountains yielded some great

photo opportunities while foliage was still present at lower elevations.

Snow and rain seemed to dominate the foliage seasnon, which made for

some unique water fall images. Comments, suggestions welcome.

This photo is absolutely gorgeous! I love the snow, it provides great contrast to the water. Yes, I think this is a great photo!

It's a wonderful scene, and the snow is a great bonus. I just wonder whether a crop from the right would bring the focus more in the main game.

Jeff - I had thought about that crop as well, as there is a bit of dark water- a little unbalanced. I liked the how the branch on the side mad a natural boarder, and I wanted to keep as many of the snow covered trees as possible. I'll have to check and see if another exposure had the best of both worlds.

Thanks, Harry

Excellent, thanks Harry, no doubt about the story with this one. You are also emphasising the beauty of the rock in this one, and that looks like a good thing to me.
