maurocarli 0 Posted September 1, 2009 Splendid B&W, Laurent. This is one of those photos where a stunning visual quality is perfectly matched with originality of content. And this makes the image so emotionally dramatic to my eyes. Regards! Link to comment

giuseppe_pasquali 0 Posted September 9, 2009 the timing is awesome. The composition enhances the straight line that connects the photographed lady's eyes and the child. Thanks for sharing, Giuseppe Link to comment
laurentlacoste 0 Posted September 9, 2009 Guiseppe, thanks. Nice having you back on Pnet. Hope you've been doing fine and that the summer has brought tons of fine pics for you to take. Link to comment
laurent_jaussi 0 Posted September 9, 2009 I see it as a tribute to photography...first with the master's print on the wall, second with your son in the foreground...I particularly enjoy the subbtle wink to the print: the lady is in her thoughts ignoring the gentleman behind, and your son is tired and does not care one second of the print's characters... After all the the photo books I have seen, the pragmatic in me keep thinking the family images are still among the most important ones...of course not necessarily for everybody...but when you combine it with a nice tribute to photography and a wink to the master...I can only enjoy it even more...
