human images 4 Posted July 27, 2009 VERY ATTRACTIVE PHOTOGRAPH ! ... but all the wall space right of subject overtakes the shot, somehow, steals from it and appears forced, gimmicky. I think the picture would be far richer if the busker was squared cropped... Link to comment
aarkp 2 Posted July 27, 2009 a simple charming image... a squarer crop would perhaps make for a more balanced composition but it would tell a different story... i like it either way -- i tried it out... i also found that i liked it more with the colors toned down a little -- the wall then didn't compete so much with the busker Link to comment

jmarcraveau 0 Posted July 28, 2009 I like the contrast between the colors and the position of the subject. Very nice composition. Beautiful image. Regards, Jean-Marc Link to comment
Bruegel Kuiseb 39 Posted July 28, 2009 ... simply perfect... Hi ( ... & why "sumus" ?...) Link to comment
mcclure 0 Posted July 29, 2009 Amazing capture - the Fib spiral is all over the composition and the relation to music understood. The play with the vent far right is wonderful; heard, seen and digested. The answer for me is the depth of the open case. 7:7 - it doesn't get better!!! Link to comment
jokeweier 0 Posted July 29, 2009 What a great game of lines and colors. Wonderful shot. greetings Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted July 30, 2009 It is a very nice composition of lines , colors and human. I agree though with the previous comment about a square format, as the wall on the R is not adding much to the whole, a square will bring closer the musician which is the center of attention. Very nice timing and execution. Link to comment
laurent_jaussi 0 Posted July 31, 2009 I like the warm wall colors and graphics...a simple, straight and direct snapped image that (for me) somehow give an idea of the solitude and hard way of living of those street musicians...colors are warm but not so the real life...looking at it I feel like a passer by, turning the head, listening a few seconds and then going on...well life is that hard for street artists...
