Wayne Sadler 567 Posted July 22, 2009 Pretty sure this is not art. At least not art of my creation because I have added very little. This is a study of a thistle. I am ever amazed at the hypnotically intelligent design often found in the simplest of nature - particularly in something me and my lawn mower tires hate. I'd appreciate any thoughts and critique. Guest Guest Posted July 23, 2009 Yes, the spacing evokes visions of the precise, quadratically derived spacing of a modern orchard. Maximize the sunshine. Minimize the water load. What ultimate function this spacing serves I can only guess. Beautiful photograph, DOF, color. Thanks for sharing it. Link to comment
