jorge_fernandez3 1 Posted June 28, 2009 A very dramatic image of a surviving soul. It appears to me that life is very hard for her. Tell me more where did you find her. The blur makes it more dramatic. Warm regards. Link to comment
aarkp 2 Posted June 28, 2009 there is a plot right next to my building where they are constructing a hotel... i live too high up to get good shots and they would not allow me inside with a camera... i got this through a narrow gap in the covering they have erected around the plot... i was disturbed to see an evidently old lady having to do such hard manual labor -- that too, in the dry scorching heat of peak summer (40 to 45 deg Celsius)... [i had to take the shot quickly else i be noticed by the overseers] Our leaders take pride in the "development" of the nation but on the ground the harsh reality prevails... Link to comment
giuseppe_pasquali 0 Posted June 30, 2009 technical quality means nothing when we have such a strong, documentaristic content. Thanks for sharing (and explaining), ciao, Giuseppe Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted July 2, 2009 Hard conditon for her, hard work for a woman her age, and for you Rajat to document it. even though it is a bit blurred, I think in this regard it is adding to the feeling of hardship. The BG is adding to "read" the scene. Link to comment
