This is truely beautiful. The tight crop and fine details are superb. I live the soft light and intense colours. Truely well done. The message you've attached is very powerful and conjures many thoughts. Well done.

Thank you each one...for your very encouraging words of critique....a constant inspiration for me....the title goes back to my High School Days, when our English Class went to Stratford on Avon, and we saw the play "Merchant of Venice"(Shakespeare)...all through the play, and even when I had read the novel.... I was so impressed by his character 'Shylock'....not so attractive, at times repugnant....but as the play continued, his character matured, and he soon realized the insanity in the the persecution he was subjected to. Although different..."if you cut me...do I not bleed????"...(not a direct quote)...but Shakespeare was so wise in his thinking. Written so many years ago...have things changed so much?

We are all part of the 'Masters' Quilt'.....different shapes, different colors, different textures, different densities; but ever so lovingly He has sewn His quilt....each of us having our own 'special spot'....and when you step back, and take a look at His "Glorious Creation"....He meant for us to be 'just the way we are'.....no matter what our differences....we 'mesh' together.....and we make this wonderful warm blanket complete. How long is it going to take for mankind to realize that His Quilt will be of no use to anyone....tattered and torn....scraps of fabric scattered all over the Earth....only because we 'squabble' over our place of 'importance' on His Well Intentioned Creation.?

As Adults, we would not allow 'children' to squabble so defiantely'....yet on a whole....if things continue the way they have, we will be a 'planet of Moral Adolescents', stunted by our immaturity....and this earth....will suffer so inhumanely...the beautiful photographs we are able to take now, will not longer be a possibility....for all there will be is a 'Barren and Fiery Wasteland'................the beautiful leaves on our trees will no longer exist, for their weeping will have deprived them of all moisture....and like us, they will lie curled up, dried out, and gasping for moisture.......but for now, if you'll kindly excuse me, I think I shall make a cup of tea....and enjoy every drop!...thankyou, each one.....Gail

Thank you so much Bobby.  I really liked this shot.  Our Maple Leaf trees have a 'fungus' type infection that they haven't found a cure for.  It's called 'black spot' and as the leaves mature they nearly all seem to be covered in these ugly spots.  Here when the leaves are NEW and soft, they are lucky to last a few weeks before catching the 'spot'.  Tnks for your support Bobby.  Warm regards, Gail
