and a fine b/w work with a rich tonal range. Imho you could have "enhanced" the distance between these two lonesome characters cropping a bit to the left. Doing this would have also probably produced a more balanced work [imho the black shape of the dog is too a weak compositional element to adeguately counterbalance the trees and the man]. So beautiful, attractive and lots of impact.

This image speaks volumes to me.... There is a narrative, a story told and untold stories to be told. Very effective and beautifully treated.

Although in b&w and a capture of what is likely a cold day, this image has a warm, peaceful feel. The slightly obscure trees in the background add good depth and perspective. My compliments!
