laurent_jaussi 0 Posted June 8, 2009 you mean the Adolph ? ha OK I saw him now..what a juxtaposition David....your treatment makes it go towards painting...I like the composition very much with the cousin of Venus de Mllo as the star of the show surrounded by figurants....and then the little Adolph squeezed that seems upset and looking for help.... davidmccracken 2 Posted June 9, 2009 I do find photographs of 'different' subjects interesting. What makes it interesting are Adolf's eyes! Well spotted. Link to comment

LindaM 2 Posted June 9, 2009 Pablo Picasso meets Adolph Hitler meets David Meyer. took me a while to find Adolph. what a find!!! really creative & masterful processing. good stuff David! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 10, 2009 It's strange. In this case, I actually find the big white mannequin standing out from all the others more disturbing than the picture of Hitler. That's the visual for you. The shadows add a lot of nuance and texture to this, giving it depth. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted June 11, 2009 I had occasion to go down into the basement of a friend. He is a pack rat of the first order. A brief look around and I saw these objects. So I whipped out the ever-present point and shoot and managed this. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted June 11, 2009 Only you can find , juxtapose and compose something like this...;-)) what is bizarre, aside from the whole, is that this Adolf is still present .....even though in some ones junk. The title is apt as without it the white mannequin takes too much attention....;-)) and still you have an eye for the unusual finds that life presents. Link to comment
aarkp 2 Posted June 11, 2009 for a point and shoot shot it's an intriguing composition... i wonder what AH's near-contemporary Sigmund Freud would have had to say... i wonder why AH's eyes are so freshly white...and why the aging measles on the chest... interesting treatment of this cornucopia... bosshogg 4 Posted June 13, 2009 You surely do wonder a lot. And I'm afraid I have few answers. The freckles may well have been mold for all I know. Thanks for your thoughts. Link to comment

bosshogg 4 Posted June 13, 2009 Ah I wasn't too scared. Those mannequins were all on the friendly side. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted June 14, 2009 Now this is a disturbing picture. Adolph is still trying for the master race, I guess. Either that or he's now into high fashion. Link to comment
drewmurphy 0 Posted June 15, 2009 I enjoy the way you go about your image making, collecting the elements you wish to show from the things you come accross in your travels. Always unique and enjoyable, along with a certain insight. Nicely done. Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 65 Posted June 18, 2009 The twentieth century was about Hitler. Someone said that. I forget who. Great work, David. --Lannie Link to comment
godfather 0 Posted June 19, 2009 I came to see your "LUSH UNDERCURRENTS" but i have to admit that the Adolph took win out of it. Shortly said: This one is a killer. The other has really good b/w conversion which i dig a lot but the message wins this time. Cheers. Link to comment
