Good (and accurate) guess! One of those HCB moments; take it at the current camera settings or forget it. ISO was set for 800 but I'd rather put up with the noise than miss the moment. Best, LM

This is a wonderful moment, The nois does not disturb to enjoy the successful result.. I love what he is enjoying too .... and I like his look, to you with the camera probably....;-))

Thanks for your interest & comments. I shudder to think what his 2 yr. old mind was thinking. Probably something unkind as I've always got a camera shoved in his face. Yes, the moment is more important than the noise. However, if I only had a top end Canon or Nikon, I wouldn't have to worry about that technicality. :-) Best, LM.

I believe that the latest versions of ACR have noise reduction but I haven't tried them. I bought Neatimage years ago but rarely need noise reduction software.
