Lifting Mist

As the mist lifted from the water these two keen early morning anglers

drifted into view, they were intently focused on thier fishing rods, whilst I

was just as intently focused on them.

What a beautiful image I found hidden deep into your portfolio Alf. Excellent composed and with a very attractive atmosphere in it. The sheer colours and lighting in combination with the mist really makes this exhibition material in my opinion. Lifting Mist, slowly revealing a pleasant English pastoral scene & transmitting to the viewer a quiet & peaceful scene, one to sit back & enjoy.Have no problem placing myself in the boat, quietly talking to an old fishing buddy from many years ago, or just sitting quietly enjoying the early morning sun. Enjoyed viewing your image & recalling fond memories with old fishing friends. Best Regards-Ross

This remains a favourite of mine, and for many of the reason that you found it attractive.  I still have the RAW file for this image and have recently re-processed it for a competition.  This was taken again in the area of the Lake District, Cumbria in England, This particular lake is named Esthwaite.
