In a world of 'turmoil'......God's Paintbrush is never idle.....perhaps man's

ugliness causes Him to search out places to 'paint'....so He may

remember the 'Legacy of Beauty' He placed within our reach.....it was

beautiful and sunny yesterday.....but today....'He weeps

uncontrollably'....when shall we learn, that destroying His beautiful lanscape

will reap us a 'crop' unedible; a "Barren Wasteland" will be the Masterpiece

we create.... our 'Paintbox' - empty....our brushes ruined....the colors that

once stirred our Souls and 'Wet our Palettes'.....will become the 'things we

lost in the fire'.

I must say I am very humbled by your critique, but it sits well with my 'heart'....we are given so much in this life, especially these small gifts of beauty....for me, they are 'gem's....although very insignificant 'in the big picture'....without them, our surroundings would certainly be bleak. I remind myself everyday that I must be thankful for every moment, especially those of 'beauty'.....for there are those whose eyes never see such 'color' or have opportunity to enhale their aromatic perfume. I am truly blessed. Thankyou for your very kind remarks, sincerely, Gail

This is a very beautiful Iris....I have one in my own garden, but saw this one while on a drive in search of any beautiful color I could find. I'm quite sure it is a Hybrid. I will try to find out the name for you..tnks for your time and remarks....you are such a busy lady...I appreciate you so very much...sincerely, Gail

Very creative my friend! The pp work is original in this presentation. I think this would have been a beautiful shot on its own before you worked it, of course not seeing the original it is only a guess. The iris is beautiful, vivid purple and exposed well. Either way I like it very much!

Warm regards, Pamela

Thankyou for your time and remarks of critique. It was quie beutiful on it's own, but there were other flowers in the background that were past their 'peak' bloom and were distracting in the background. Otherwise I would have posted it on it's own....Sometimes I find the decision of 'which way to go' a little difficult...but decided to go this route. Thankyou again for your kind words, sincerely, Gail

Is there ANYTHING more beautiful than an iris???? And you've displayed this one to perfection. No more words need to be spoken. All we have to do is look at it.
